Dish #60 - no.9 witchcraft.

The Dish: I just came across this video of Nicole Fox (ANTM Cycle 13 winner) with two other models (Rachel Ballinger and Daria Plyushko) in a promotion for Wildfox Couture Fall 2010 Collection. It's vintage porcelain dolls meets voodoo floral princess. Eerie and intriguing. Some still shots from the Wildfox website. I love Nicole's red fiery hair. I want the pink leggings in the last photo (also at 0:37)!

Dish #59 - A Thing for Dramatic Flair.

I love K-Drama: Just finished watching 'IRIS'. So the storyline got a little far-fetched but you can't help but watch it for Lee Byung Hun, who's pretty damn gorgeous for his age. Not that I'm a stalker (really, I'm not) but I had to search for some gossip. Lucky me, it seems that K-Drama doesn't end on screen. It looks like the 40-year old actor (who plays Storm Shadow in the last year's G.I. Joe movie) just ended a lawsuit involving his 22-year old ex-girlfriend suing him for luring her into bed with the falsehood of a promised marriage. (Yah, my reaction exactly, huh?) The plaintiff allegedly gave up her entire career as a rhythmic gymnast/prima donna at York University and followed him home to Korea. Omg, LMAO, what a joke. Is she sued him for dating her, sleeping with her or being a jerk for dumping her? It's 2010 and it's called having a relationship with a big shot actor who's a player. Goodness girl, he's like the George Clooney of Korea - just be happy you got a piece of him. She must not be the brightest patch of green in the field and he's got millions and never filched for a second when she sued him. Oh, she allegedly now owns a Tae Kwon Do centre with her mother and sister somewhere in Ontario. Verdict: Big Shot Actor vs. Silly College Girl ... Big Shot Actor wins.

Bling Bling From The Block: JLo has signed a $12-million dollar deal with FOX to join American Idol as a judge. For one season. Geez. The show had its glory days. Signing on Jennifer Lopez is a a desperate act I'd say, even for FOX.

Girls & Gossip: The season premiere of Gossip Girl was hot. Paris is, no doubt, the sexiest city in the world. Blair is desperate to hook up with a real prince and ironically, a post-trauma Chuck assumes a false identity, naming himself Henry Prince. Coincidence, I think not! His new girlfriend is Fleur from the HP franchise and you can't bear to hate her. Oh, and Dan is Brooklyn's newest baby-daddy. Girl & Guns: Nikita. I watched the season premiere last week. It's not the best pilot I've seen but Maggie Q definitely has what it takes to make the line "if looks could kill" completely and deadly believable. Shane West, who plays her former trainer/agent-who-used-to-love-her, isn't bad either. I have faith to keep watching the next couple of episodes.

Carnivourously Gaga: Talk about bringing food to the table. Lady Gaga's meat dress, designed by Franc Fernandez (for FF's blog and photos of the dress, click here), at the MTV Video Music Awards this past weekend was, to completely understate, different. Once again, Lady Gaga is making a statement about the world (surprise, surprise). During the interview with Ellen Degeneres (who is a vegan - oh the irony), she defends the dress: "...if we don't stand up for what we believe in, if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're gonna have as much rights as the meat on our bones." Hmmm... Sure, Gaga, I see where you're trying to take this but I don't buy it and judging from the look on Ellen's face, she didn't either. But I gotta love Ellen for coming up with a kale dress as a gift to Gaga in return. (Click here for the interview with Ellen.)
